How to quantitatively determine the relationship between growth and development is the long-term concern of governments and scholars around the globe. This paper evaluates the sustainability of China's economic development by using the international frontier theory of Sustainable Evaluation.By analyzing the input-output table from 1995 to 2014,the 56 production department are classified into 6 sectors, which refer to agriculture, industry, construction, commercial catering, post and telecommunications, finance, software development and other services departments. And then build the currency flow matrix and establish the sustainable evaluation model, calculate the ascendency and resilience index to determine the level of sustainable development of China's economy.Based on the above evaluation, the following conclusions are drawn: First,China's current stage of economic development lies in the growing period, there is a tendency to move to the maturity stage gradually.Second,By calculating the coefficient of development vigor in each year, the development of dynamic coefficient during the period 1995-2009 was 7.30% to 8.25%,and the Chinese economy was in the optimal sustainable development at this stage.During the period of 2010-2011,the economy was in fluctuation period,The total throughput increased from 12,274.4 billion bit dollars to 90,674.36 billion bit dollars, but the ascendency dropped to 7.94%,up to 8.29%.Indicating that the trend of sustainable development is uncertain. In 2012-2014 period, the total system throughput rose from 152,943.9 billion bit dollars to 188,554.67 billion bit dollars, the ascendency was increased from 8.05% to 8.12%,indicating that the economic trend of the best sustainable development.Thirdly,by calculating the marginal contribution of the first-order path of each department,it is necessary to increase the input factor of the departmental system and increase the dynamic coefficient of the development of the corresponding system,so that the economic system tends to be sustainable.
