As Chinese economy has entered the New Normal,the promotion of new urbanization,with The Belt and Road Initiative and Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration Development Planning put forwarded,it's a new opportunities for urban construction development of Nanning.It also means new requirements and challenges.Nowadays,study on development of urban commercial space,not only for promoting the construction of city but also to strengthen the management of urban space and optimize the development plan of city.This paper takes the central city of Nanning as the research object,qualitative analysis of its commercial space;according to two aspects of the total scale and spatial distribution,analysis of urban commercial land use pattern,and put forward the problems of the present situation;based on the factors affecting the distribution of commercial space,qualitative and quantitative analysis of the development and layout of commercial land in city center;suggestions on the optimization of the commercial space pattern.It is concluded that Nanning commercial solid industrial base,Nanning city center commercial space is divided into regional,urban type,area type and community type four types,with the "point axis layout mode group" combination;showing the spatial pattern along the three axis pole multi center,the present problems of Nanning city center commercial spatial pattern is that the unbalanced development commercial space pattern,the commercial center lacks development joint efforts,the heavy population and transportation pressure,unreasonable allocation of commercial networks;economic factors,market factors,traffic demand factor,city construction and planning factors are the main factors that influence the commercial space pattern of Nanning city;the optimization of Nanning city center commercial space,including the overall coordination,optimize the layout,reasonable guide,update,focus,characteristic Exhibition,people-oriented,livable industry.This paper was composed of six chapters.Chapter1 begins with an introduction on the research's object,scope,purpose and the research significance,the research ideas and research methods were also put forward.Chapter2 introduced the basic theory.Chapter 3 analyzed the present situation of commercial space in Nanning city,and the present situation of commercial development,the classification of commercial space and the spatial pattern of commerce are briefly analyzed,studies on the spatial distribution characteristics of commercial land in Nanning central city,by means of GIS analysis,and the present problems.Chapter4 analyze the factors affecting the distribution of commercial space.Chapter5 is a study on optimization of Nanning urban commercial spatial pattern.Chapter6 summarizes the conclusion of this research paper.
