Innovation has gradually become the primary driving force for national and regional economic growth.As a space carrier of innovation factors,cities are an important support for implementing innovation-driven development strategies.In the era of knowledge economy,it is of significance to explore the space-time evolution law,the evolution of network structure and the influencing factors of urban agglomeration innovation network to build an innovative city and achieve a more comprehensive regional innovation development plan.Based on the literature on innovation cooperation,this paper takes 90 county-level regions in Zhejiang Province as the research object,and uses the joint application of patent data from 2007-2017 to construct the innovation network of Zhejiang urban agglomeration.At the same time,ArcGIS 10.2,UCINET,VOSviewer,Stata12.0 and other related softwares,the social network analysis method,spatial autocorrelation method and econometric analysis method are used to explore the topological structure,overall spatial evolution of the innovation network of Zhejiang urban agglomeration and the characteristics of condensed subgroups;then the paper uses QAP multiple regression analysis to explore the evolution mechanism of innovative network structure and build a spatial interaction model based on bilateral city attributes,proximity dynamics,and network attributes,then analyze the impact mechanism of urban innovation cooperation differences through negative binomial panel regression;finally,the policy recommendations are summarized and provided a reference for regional innovation planning in Zhejiang Province.The study found that:(1)The overall structure of the innovation network of Zhejiang urban agglomeration tends to be complicated,and the average level of innovation cooperation is low but rising.The network topology is gradually showing no scale,and the small world characteristic is strong.There is preferential link when the innovation subject chooses the innovative cooperation object.Knowledge overflow has spatial dependence.The overall network presents a spatial pattern of“single-center radiation and local network”,and the hierarchical level is significant.Each district of Hangzhou occupies the core position of the innovation network of Zhejiang urban agglomerations,and the innovation and development around the Hangzhou Bay area is superior.(2)In the process of the formation and evolution of the innovation network structure of Zhejiang urban agglomeration,the geographical distance is still an important consideration for the innovation cooperation between cities which shows a significant negative correlation;the technological proximity has a positive positive effect on the evolution of the innovation network,but the significance is weak;Cognitive proximity has a positive promotion effect.The higher the similarity of industrial structure is,the more favorable the knowledge spillover between cities is.The influence of institutional proximity on the evolution of innovation network is unstable,and there is a similar "U" curve relationship between the institutional proximity and the evolution of innovation network.In terms of environmental attributes of bilateral cities: economic scale,education level and policy support have a significant positive effect on innovation cooperation among cities;geographic proximity,border neighboring,technological proximity and the intensity of innovation cooperation between cities are significantly positively correlated;Cognitive proximity and innovation cooperation between cities presents an inverted“U”-shaped curve relationship and is currently on the left side of the “U” shape.The appropriate degree of cognitive proximity contributes to the innovation cooperation between cities;There is a positive “ U ” curve relationship between institutional proximity and innovation cooperation,and it is on the right side of the“U” curve at this stage;the network structure and network feature attributes have a positive effect on the innovation cooperation between cities and the network attribute influence is more inclined to the overall effect.(3)In the regional innovation system,the urban innovation factor input promotes the innovation performance of the node by improving the internal creative process of innovative production.The urban network centrality relies on the innovation network to enhance the regional innovation performance by improving the external absorption capacity of the city node.The degree center,the median centrality and the proximity center are all conducive to the improvement of urban node innovation performance.The regional absorption capacity helps urban nodes to better play the positive role of network centrality in regional innovation performance,and is the “burning aid” for the improvement of urban node's own innovation capability.(4)The center of the innovation network of Zhejiang urban agglomeration presents the trend of “one super and many strong”.Xihu District of Hangzhou occupies the core position of the innovation network,and the high network central area is concentrated in space.The districts of Hangzhou gradually become the center of innovation network.The centrality of each city node showed significant spatialautocorrelation.The“high-high”evolution type continued to gather in the Hangzhou area,and the spatial locking effect was strong.The innovation performance shows the trend pattern of the northeast high and low southwest,The high-value zones of the innovative development level are distributed in the core corridors of “ JiaxingHuzhou-Hangzhou-Ningbo” and “Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Jinhua-Wenzhou-Taizhou”The low-value areas are distributed in the “continuous” form in the counties and cities of southwestern Zhejiang.At present,the distribution of innovation spatial pattern in Zhejiang Province is affected by the interaction of economic development level,government support policies and traffic location.The article summarizes the insufficiency and significance of the research,and proposes to optimize the overall network structure,give full play to the overall driving effect of the network,optimize the multi-dimensional proximity level between cities,and improve the innovative development plan to superior and inferior.
