With the trend of economic globalization,innovation has become the mainstream factor to promote the development of the times.The surroundings of enterprises are complex and volatile,coupled with the impact of uncertainties,which need enterprises to maintain their own competitive advantage through innovation.Employees,as the mainstay of enterprise innovation,provide inexhaustible sources and motivation for enterprise innovation.However,there are often many contradictions and obstacles in reality,limiting the effect of innovation.For example,the workplace often appears on some phenomenon:the surface harmony and the inward sabotage;covering up the error and hiding the shortcomings;mutual prevarication and refusing to take responsibility,which is the lack of organizational trust in the final analysis.Therefore,it is of great importance to explore the path of organizational trust and employee innovation to stimulate individual innovation.In recent years,scholars have begun to find that organizational trust is an important factor affecting employee innovation behavior,in which interpersonal trust increases the possibility of resource exchange,reduces the cost of knowledge sharing and makes it easier to generate innovative behavior.In addition,another study found that the factors of organizational context will influence the individual mental state,in order to affect individual behavior.Thus,when employees trust their supervisors,colleagues and organizations,they are willing to establish long-term friendly relations and expose themselves to uncertainty risks,enhancing the psychological safety and being more willing to provide innovative solutions.Based on the above analysis,this paper explores the mediating effect of psychological safety while researching the influence mechanism between organizational trust and employee behavior.In this study,the empirical analysis was used to collect 279 valid questionnaires from employees in Jiangsu province.SPSS and Lisrel are used for reliability and validity analysis,regression analysis and other methods to explore the mediating of psychological safety within organizational trust and employee innovation.The results show that organizational trust and its dimensions(supervisors,colleagues,and organizational trust)have a positive effect on employee innovation behavior and its dimensions(generating and implementing innovative ideas);Organizational trust and its dimensions have a positive effect on psychological safety;Psychological safety has a positive effect on employee innovation behavior and its dimensions;The psychological safety mediates the relationship between organizational trust and employee innovation behavior partly.Among them,the psychological safety mediates the relationship between organizational trust and its dimensions and generating innovative ideas partly;the psychological safety mediates the relationship between organizational trust and its two dimensions(supervisors and organizational trust)and implementing innovative ideas partly.Besides,the psychological safety mediates the relationship between colleagues trust and implementing innovative ideas totally.Based on the above conclusions,this study puts forward the following suggestions for enterprise's practice management:Firstly,enterprise should pay attention to building organizational trust and creating great trust environment.Not only do they focus on interpersonal interaction to create safe and mutual reliant atmosphere,but also focus on system construction to create fair and equitable environment.Secondly,enterprise should care about the employee's psychological feelings,using communication,expression skills and incentives rationally to improve psychological safety perception.In addition,a safe and efficient knowledge sharing platform should be set up to promote employee innovation behavior.
