To survive and develop in the intense market competition,the cost of the product has become a key factor to determine success and destiny of the enterprise and is also one of the main channels to expand the market share of products.the company is burdened with severe external pressure such as industrial transformation and upgrading,the rising prices of raw materials as well as internal pressure including rising labor costs and constantly increased requirements for technological element of a product and the company is facing a severe challenge in product cost management.To this end,the company is in urgent need to carry out research on product cost management so as to cope with the fierce international and domestic market competition.Firstly,the research status and theoretical basis for enterprise product cost management were summarized and analyzed,including the concept of cost management,theory evolution and the role,objectives and content of cost management,modern cost management methods were introduced in detail,laid the theoretical foundation for the research.Secondly,the status of Jiangsu XH company product cost management were analyzed,through systematic investigation and careful analysis,find out Jiangsu XH company in the main problems existing in the supply chain,the development stage,production stage,sales stage and after-sales maintenance stage product cost management,cost management methods lag,the market consciousness is not strong,incentive cost constraint mechanism is not yet perfect,technological innovation,lack of motivation,cost management informationization level is low is the cause.Based,focusing on from product supply chain,development,production and manufacturing stage,the stage of marketing and after-sales maintenance stage to improve cost management of Jiangsu XH company,Jiangsu XH company established and modern enterprise management to adapt to the whole life cycle cost management scheme.Finally from increase the awareness of cost control,introduction of modern cost control theory and method,sound assessment methods,build reasonable suggestions and cost saving incentives mechanism,strengthening human resources management and technological innovation,improve the cost information etc.five aspects of the Jiangsu XH company product cost management improvement program implementation of the safeguards.This paper applies the relevant management theories and methods to carry out a more comprehensive and systematic exploration of the improvement of the product cost management level in Jiangsu XH company,Through the research on the product cost management of the company,the product cost management solutions are tailored to help the company straighten out the management process,significantly improve product cost management and promote long-term stable development of the company.In the meanwhile,the research results are also expected to provide reference value for similar enterprise.
