A Study On The Impact Of China's Commercial Bank Investment Banking Structure On Bank Performance

In the 21 st century,the world economy has developed rapidly,and the banking business environment has also undergone important changes.The traditional banking business has been unable to meet the requirements of a wide range of markets.Commercial banks are facing more and more challenges.In the modern society where the international banks are in the mixed development,the active investment banking business is the key measure and important pillar to improve the core competitiveness of commercial banks and create new economic profit points.Compared with foreign developed countries,China's commercial banks investment banking business is still in the initial stage of immature development,investment banking business structure has yet to be optimized.However,the integrated management and diversification has become the trends of China's commercial banks business,how to better develop investment banking business,optimize the investment banking structure,effectively deal with various risks and crises,become the urgent need for the development of modern social banks.In recent years,the growth of interest in China's commercial banks has been weak and the proportion of non-interest income has increased year by year.In particular,due to the low cost and high profit of investment banking business,the major commercial banks have established investment banking sector,expanding their business areas.This paper analyzes the development of investment banking business through domestic and foreign commercial banks and analyzes the current situation of China's commercial banks to develop investment banking business and the successful experience of foreign countries.This paper studies the necessity of commercial banks to develop investment banking business by studying the contribution of commercial banks' investment banking business to the performance of commercial banks.And through the study of the investment banking business segmentation of the bank's performance of the different contribution rate to explore China's commercial bank investment banking business problems and the direction of adjustment.All kinds of commercial banks in China should make full use of their own advantages,pay attention to the development of asset management income and consultancy income business and the direction of the adjustment,better to develop investment banking business and optimize the investment banking business structure to promote bank performance improvement.
