Research On The Investment Banking Business Strategy Of The Inner Mongolia Branch Of Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China

From the perspective of developing trend in the world's bank industry and business competition among national commercial banks,China's commercial banks should adopt compound administration and spend major efforts developing investment banking business.With the economic booming,more and more clients are not satisfied with traditional businesses.Therefore,developing investment banking is of great necessity to banks' development.As the first bank involving in the investment banking business,Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is the most profitable bank in China.With the development for 8 years,the business has had a leading position among commercial banks in China.Inner Mongolia Branch,Industrial and Commercial Bank of China set up its Investment Banking Department in 2004 and grew rapidly.This article comparatively studies the investment banking in commercial banks,analyzed the trend of the investment banking business,and drew an conclusion to the necessity of developing investment banking.In addition,the article discusses some problems in the development of investment banking,such as,insufficient creativity in invest banking development,imbalance in and obstacles to its development,and improper staff distribution etc.Finally,based on the detailed analysis,the author presents some suggestions of investment banking development.
