Due to the fierce market competition today, the cost of prime materials has been very transparent, enterprises which want to survive in this battle, the most necessary thing to do is maximize their own production efficiency and reduce production costs. In response to this problem, the TPM organization proposed the management theory of Overall equipment efficiency(OEE).The OEE is the index of enterprise production efficiency, through the improvement of OEE,we can directly see the change of production efficiency in enterprise, and it is easy to find out the bottleneck equipment, which provides a good entry point for improvement. This article focus on improving the OEE of A corporation, mainly using the fish bone diagram, factor analysis method to find the main factors which impact the OEE of the company, and establishing the relational model between preventive maintenance interval and total production benefit to determine the reasonable preventive maintenance interval, then with the quick die change, parallel movement processing methods and control chart, improved three main indicators of OEE: time rate, performance utilization rate, yield, reduced time loss caused by external factors, maintenance and update. Finally, through the implementation of the improvement program and tracking, increased the OEE of bottleneck equipment in 118F-C production line to 88.6%,which improved efficiency of the production line and brought the company with direct economic benefits.By using OEE to improve the production equipment of Company A,the results can show that OEE theory has a certain reference significance for domestic manufacturing enterprises to improve the level of comprehensive utilization of equipment.
