The Research On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Bamboo Industry In Yanling County

Forestry becomes the main stream at present ecological construction in China and bamboo plays a vital role in environmental protection and climate changes,while it also act as a green resource for economic growth.But current extensive model in bamboo cultivation constraints the development of bamboo industry.On the other hand,bamboo is also a favorable alternative for replacing timber for construction requirements as the timber consumption which requires 50 percent import will reach as high as 800 million cubic meter in 2020.This study concludes the following features and existing problems after a thorough survey of bamboo industry in Yanling County,by analyzing and peer reviewing issues of the current development of bamboo industry in Hunan and other part of China raised by scholars:1)Bamboo growth is in a certain scale but with low quality,2)Heavy taxation in bamboo industry,3)Lack of management result in low practical benefits,4)Disorder competition,5)Bamboo industry requires transition and upgrade.Based on the current situation in Yanling Country,the following development ideas are presented to make sure that the bamboo industry in Yanling could 1)improve its quality,thus the bamboo growth in high quality,2)achieve transition,thus while keeping the development of traditional bamboo process,to transit bamboo industry into ecotourism and services,3)establish its own brand in Hunan first then in China to change the current OEM processing situation,4)and develop agglomeratively by establishing bamboo industry district via technology and policy support to build a bamboo industry with Yanling feature and quality.
