The Research On Influence Of Population Migration On Economic Development Of Heilongjiang Province

China, as a big country with the biggest population worldwide, is facing an outstanding issue of population with the accelerating process of revolution and opening up and the deepening reform of economic system. At the same time,the large-scale population migration is affecting economic development of the whole China and the provinces on certain levels. Among them, Heilongjiang province is experiencing a serious population emigration phenomenon, especially in the small and medium-sized cities except. Under the current circumstances, the provincial population migration has become one of the reasons that affect economic development of Heilongjiang province, at the same time, it also can affect the regional economic difference. Although the regional economic difference is an inevitable result of the economic development, but it will cause a series of social problems if the regional economic gap is too big. Therefore controlling the gap within a reasonable range is the most important premise to guarantee the coordinated development and regional economic growth in a healthy way.This paper is based on the foundation of population migration theories of regional economic development, through combing related literatures of the relationship between population migration and regional economic development. First of all, introduce related concepts and theories of population migration, study the present situation of population migration and regional economic development of Heilongjiang province, and use the coefficient of variation of population and Theil index to measure the difference of regional economic development of Heilongjiang province; Second of all, using the panel data model and the output stripping model to analyze the impact of population migration bringing to regional economic growth and the regional economic difference respectively. Through the empirical study we can see that the increase of net migration of population has a positive effect to promote regional economic growth of Heilongjiang province, at the same time, the existence of population migration can narrow the difference of regional economy between different cities in Heilongjiang province. Finally, put forward suggestions in order to promote reasonable population migration and the coordinated development of regional economy rapidly.
