Population spatial distribution and its changes not only reflect a region’s internal development condition, more will affect a region’s economic development and social stability, industrial upgrading, and urban structure and layout. Therefore, research a regional population spatial distribution and migration is an important part of the city development, but also the premise and foundation of improve a region to speed up the all-round development. Our country is in the east of the world, has a long history, the west and low in topography, landform diversification, but the mountainous area, land area of960square kilometers, and the basin and plain accounts for only33%, but to feed one5of the world’s population. In recent years, China’s rapid economic development, urbanization process is accelerated, the provincial population scale increasing dramatically in China, the spatial layout and the corresponding change. From the point of population size, the uneven spatial distribution of population in our country. Especially in eastern coastal provinces in China, the rapid economic development, industrial upgrading, resulting in a large number of population influx. The whole, our country population spatial distribution presents the central, eastern population intensive; the western population is sparse, northwest of the present situation and characteristics. And dynamic analysis shows that the population spatial distribution pattern is undergoing changes in our country, in addition to the main to the coastal city of mobile population, the development of the western region is put forward, also contributed to the population migration in western Sichuan, Chongqing and other provinces. This article will through the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the spatial distribution of population in our country, migration and so on was discussed the main content for the following sections.First of all, this article will research the spatial distribution of population in our country, and from the traditional spatial statistical indicators and geographic information system under the whole domain autocorrelation, local autocorrelation two aspects were discussed, it is concluded that the characteristics of population spatial distribution in China. In addition, this paper will also from the perspective of correlation between population density and the relationship between various influence factors of population distribution.Secondly, this paper investigate present situation of population migration in China from the perspective of population migration, and respectively from the province and outside the province, such as immigration and emigration investigation and analysis of multiple perspectives. At the same time, according to the present situation of our country in recent years, the population migration summarizes five characteristics of migration in our country, namely:the amount of population migration in China appeared a decreasing trend, population distribution along with our country put forward the development of the western region in China, Chongqing, Sichuan and other western provinces population migration quantity increase, the mainland population influx in developed coastal areas, population migration began in the province is less, immigration, Fujian association of foreign languages and more frequently, the development of the western region to promote the population migration in the west.In addition, the empirical analysis part will explore the various factors influencing the population migration in our country, and through the establishment of the spatial econometric model validation of various financial investment to our country the influence of population migration. Finally, Comprehensive analysis of population spatial distribution and migration of important influence on China’s social stability, economic development, city, etc.
