The Research On The Mechanisms Of Reverse Knowledge Transfer Network In TNCs

In the era of knowledge economy, In order to be in the position of the global value chain and maintain the core international competitiveness, multinational corporations is accelerating its pace of internationalization, by learning international advanced technologies and knowledge through globalization and with the influence of knowledge and technology spillover, new models of the reverse knowledge transfer between parent company and subsidiaries appear in the transnational corporations, based on the original vertical knowledge transfer and knowledge transfer between each other. Meanwhile, with the rapid development of Internet economy and the maturity of the network organization mo del, numerous subsidiaries, with a certain degree of autonomy, and parent company formed the multinational network organization beyond the hierarchical Structure. Therefore, the primary issue which multinationals face today is how to describe reverse knowledge transfer network organization structure of transnational corporations, and to use its reverse knowledge transfer to improve the efficiency of transnational corporations. This thesis deeply discuss the path of improving the efficiency of reverse knowledge transfer, using the connotation of reverse knowledge transfer networks of transnational corporations as the breakthrough point and reverse knowledge transfer network system as the main line.First of all, on the basis of summarizing relevant research results at home and abroad,this thesis analyses the connotation of the transnational corporations and reverse knowledge transfer networks as well as network mechanisms, then built a multinational mechanism for reverse knowledge transfer network based on three-dimension perspective---"generation-evolution-governance", laid the foundation for this thesis.Second, to solve the design problem of reverse knowledge transfer network generation mechanism of transnational corporations, applying of system dynamics and the method of two-stage game, this thesis design mechanism about the knowledge sharing mechanism of subsidiaries and mechanism of knowledge absorption of the parent company from the double perspective of motivation and process, by summarizing and combing through documents at home and abroad.Third, to solve the design problem of reverse knowledge transfer networks and evolution mechanism of transnational corporations, this thesis analyzes the reverse evolution complete process of the knowledge transfer networks of transnational corporations using evolutionary game theory, based on the analysis of connotation of reverse evolution of completeness of the knowledge transfer networks of transnational corporations. It also identify key parameters influencing evolution and design the two mechanisms of the cognition of a parent company and the motivation of subsidiaries in order to improve the efficiency of reverse knowledge transfer network evolution of transnational corporations.Then, to solve the design problem of governance mechanism of the reverse knowledge transfer network of transnational corporations, this thesis constructs reverse knowledge transfer network game model for governance of transnational corporations, based on the analysis of the connotation of reverse knowledge transfer network governance of transnational corporations. It also designs three network governance mechanisms--- feedback,trust, reciprocity and enhancement of learning according to the results of mathematical analysis.Lastly, in order to guarantee the effective operation the mechanism of reverse knowledge transfer network of transnational corporations,this thesis propose the establishment of a specialized organization, the introduction of a knowledge management system, the improvement of the favorable institutional environment and the development of appropriate cultural environments and other support measures, which are all based on dual perspectives of the reverse knowledge transfer network platform and the optimization of the reverse knowledge transfer network.
