The Impact Of Employment Quality On Regional Economic Transformation And Upgrading

Since the reform and opening,China’s economy has been developed continuously and rapidly.In the face of the development of new economy such as knowledge economy,information economy,economic globalization and service economy,with the development of China’s economy being "the new normal state",the original economic structure of China’s economy has been in the key period of reform,thus the economic transformation and upgrading has becoming inevitable and have to convert from the demographic bonus into the demographic capital quality bonus successfully.Many scholars put forward that whether the problem of employment deals better or not will affect the sustainable development of China’s economy..Lin Yifu reminded that the improvement of the employment’s quality is the key prerequisite to help China develop a domestic demand-driven economy,because it means the improvement of the social income structure and the enhancement of the total consumption,which can help China form a middle class with strong spending power.Therefore,this study will focus on the impact of the quality of employment on the regional economic transformation with a certain reality and forward-looking.Based on the intrinsic relationship between the quality of employment and the transformation and upgrading of regional economy,this paper measures the current quality of employment in Zhejiang Province and studies the impact mechanism of employment quality on the transformation and upgrading of Zhejiang economy.Firstly,this paper defines the concept of employment quality on the basis of domestic and foreign literature,and briefly describes the development status and problems of employment quality in Zhejiang Province.Secondly,it analyzes the internal mechanism of employment quality impact on economic transformation and upgrading.Then,combined with the relevant economic data of Zhejiang Province,this paper uses the method of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis to analyze and test the impact of employment quality on regional economic transformation and upgrading through time series model.Finally,according to the above analysis and conclusions,this paper put forward some effective countermeasures and suggestions for future research.The results of this study show that the improvement of employment quality in Zhejiang Province has a certain relationship with the transformation and upgrading of the economy.The improvement of the quality of employment has a positive effect on the transformation and upgrading of the regional economy.From the production function we can see that the economy as a result of the output is affected by the factors of employment input.The quality of employment as a major component of employment,will stimulate domestic demand by raising the wage level of workers and enhancing the consumption capacity of the middle class,will achieve industrial upgrading and economic transformation by stimulating the technological innovation capacity of the producers;will promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure by relying on the high quality employment from the accumulation of human capital;through high-quality employment to attract more workers to the city workand live in the city,which will promote the development of urbanization process,while the formation of different levels of consumption structure and then forced enterprises to transform and upgrade to meet different consumer needs.Therefore,the quality of employment will promote the regional economy to achieve economic transformation and upgrading from three different aspects.
