Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Labor Employment In Urumqi City

Employment is such a kind of activity that people can get money or profit during their ages. It can help to boost the economy and maintain social stability.Working not only upgrades the whole welfare level, but also influences the current situation of economic development in the workers’ area. At present, the Chinese government takes employment as the basis for people’s living. Solving the employment issues can promote effective employment and play an important role in leading the development of cities and counties in Urumqi. By accelerating the economic and social development of Ethnic Minorities, the employment provides experience for the solutions. Before wrote this thesis, I had summed up both domestic and foreign documents of employment. But there are few writings about the employment issues in Urumqi. More and more learners studied in the same field and got the similar idea. Hardly of them took the comprehensive way to finish the studies. In conclusion, I think it is necessary to study the topic.Firstly, by analyzing and summing up the main achievements and experiences in recent five years during the period of “12th five-year plan”, we can see the experience and shortcoming in Urumqi’s development rationally. Secondly, because of the limitation in enterprise, our societies have not enough positions for workers to get jobs. It has five aspects to analysis issues and reasons, such as the differences with people from all walks of society and the structural tensions are more acutely felt;the Public Services Platform of Employment is building and has its weaker ability;Workers have poorer stability and lower quality of their jobs. Thirdly, the author suggested countermeasures to promote employment. It contains the following aspects through building five centers of the core district in Silk Road Economic Belt and establishing the Six Major Industrial Bases, government should grow in size and number of the enterprise for plenty jobs; Employment Service Center can provide a clear and workable ideas and goals, try to make special employment assistance and solve the problems of the structural contradictions; government should also step up the development of infrastructure in Public Services Platform and raise their abilities to services; by using the business startups project and incubators base as carriers, all the society should advance employment with entrepreneurship.A great deal of statistics that collected through condensed field study and went to the related departments were considered in the thesis. It also has some reference value to improve and promote the current employment situation in Urumqi. And I would like to provide some suggestions for policy making.
