With innovation,led by the five development concepts is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,"popular entrepreneurship and innovation" has become a "new style"under the situation of rapid economic development,and employee innovation behavior has become an important resource of enterprise competitiveness.The hot word,Along with the of hot word "fault-tolerant mechanism" and "fault-tolerant environment",emerging with innovation,has brought a new problem:can errors be the source of innovation?Frese,Van Dyck and other scholars put forward error management climate of the organization to be able to promote innovation.Domestic scholars,Wang Chongming and Hong Ziqiang,etc began to study the error orientation and error management atmosphere concepts and their results from 2000.It attracted the attention of scholars.In addition,companies are increasingly concerned about the impact of job characteristics on employee competence,creativity and performance.Therefore,this paper selects employee innovative behavior as dependent variables,error management climate as independent variables,and add error risk taking orientation as mediating variables and job characteristics as moderator,to discuss the mechanism of error management climate on employee innovative behavior.In this paper,through the literature review,we find out the deficiencies and gaps in the research,and put forward the problems and build the model,and use the maturity scale to design questionnaire,and finally received 203 valid questionnaires.SPSS19.0 software was used to analyze the reliability and validity of the questionnaire andthe correlation analysis and regression analysis,The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Error management climate has significant positive influence on employees' error risk taking orientation.Learning from errors and thinking about errors and error communication and error competence dimensions have positive influence on employees'error risk taking orientation.Among them,the influence degree of thinking about errors is the biggest.(2)Error management climate and it's dimensions have significant positive influence on employee innovative behavior.Among them,the influence degree of error competence is the biggest.(3)Error risk taking orientation has significant positive influence on employee innovative behavior.(4)Error risk taking orientation plays a partial mediating role between four dimensions of error management climate and employee innovative behavior.(5)Among dimensions of job characteristics,the autonomy and skill variety and feedback dimensions have positive influence on employee innovative behavior,task significance and task identity have no significant effect on employee innovative behavior.(6)Among dimensions of job characteristics,the autonomy and skill variety and feedback dimensions play a positive regulatory role in the influence of error risk taking orientation on employee innovative behavior,and there is no regulation of task significance and task identity.The innovation of this study is to creatively select error risk taking orientation from the individual error orientation as the perspectives,and as a mediating variable to study,not only enrich the study on the mediating mechanism between error management climate and employee innovation behavior,but also deeply discuss and refine the related research about error orientation.In addition,the model is employed to explore the moderating effect of job characteristics as the moderating variables of the relationship between error risk taking orientation and employee innovative behavior,and examine the moderating effects of five dimensions:job autonomy,skill variety,task significance,task identity and feedback.Compared with the existing research,this paper explores a new path for the impact mechanism of the error management climate on employee innovation behavior.
