Research On Regional Differences In The Supply And Demand Of Production Factors In China

Supply and demand of factors of production had a bearing on the development of regional economy and improvement of people's living standard.With the rapid development of economy,tremendous changes appeared in the supply and demand of labor and capital factors.Meanwhile,it was particularly significant that the research of relative supply and demand factors of region on account of imbalanced development of regional economy.In this paper,we focused on the relative supply and demand situation between labor and capital factor and the correlated influence factors,making proposals for regional economic development in China.On the one hand,the price trend of factor is greatly dependent upon the relative supply and demand factors of production,otherwise it can have a significant impact on relative supply and demand factors of production.In a manner of speaking,most of the information of supply and demand factors of production could be reflected by market price.And on the other,shadow factor price could afford significant information of elements of supply and demand from producer equilibrium,that was the important tool for analyzing the situation of factor supply and demand.The shadow factor price mainly rely upon the aggregate production technology and macroeconomic operation performance,therefore,the aggregate production technology and macroeconomic operation performance could affect the supply and demand factors of production.The main contents of research in this thesis were the relative supply and demand factors of production among different regions from the marking of factor prices,aggregate production technology and production performance.In this paper,capital and labor force were chosen as representative to research the regional difference of supply and demand factors of production in China.The uncertainty of labor data attributes obtained significant attention,and the fundamental change of relative situation of factors could be reflected by the variation of labor data attributes that based on the uncertainty,inconsistency and variability of preference.Actually,from the market point of view,labor as a kind of investment in the production activities was the significant component of direct costs,so the manufacturer expected as little as investment,and the labor was averse data.However,form the macro-regulator point of view,one of the basic goals of economic regulation was creating jobs and improving employment level in the case of high unemployment,so the macroeconomic overall labor inputs was preference data.The data,similar to labor indicators,could be regarded as neutral type data.On account of neutral properties of labor indicators,DEA model of data's three types could evaluated economic productivity among different regions in our country,and calculated shadow price of factors in different time on the basis of economic operation efficiency of DEA.Since the absence of statistics robustness of DEA performance evaluation,DEA cluster method was been used ulteriorly.According to the shadow price corresponding to the hyperplane of the front surface of the production possible set which is determined by the three-class DEA model,the regional economic operational status carried out a phased division.By defining total production technology conditions,evaluating production factors and accounting shadow price of factors in different regions,this paper analyzed and contrasted the regional difference of supply and demand situation of production factors.The results indicated that,firstly,as the crucial factors influencing the supply and demand situation of production factors,total production technology conditions and production performance showed significant difference,specifically,economic operation efficiency of east region exceeded that of midland,that of midland overtopped that of west region.Secondly,regional factor market possessed the dynamic sense of effectiveness,and factor market price and shadow price had significant correlation which existed regional difference.Thirdly,factor market presented price distortion,particularly,market price of labor factor exceeded shadow price,in contrast,the market price of capital factors was below shadow price,that explained the rising of the speed of capital accumulation in different regional.Fourthly,the variation of labor element properties reflected the essentiality change of relative supply and demand situation of production factors,revealed the disequilibrium characteristic of supply and demand situation of regional factor market,including that the variation of labor element properties of east region earlier than that of west region,that of north region earlier than south region,nevertheless,the duration of variation of south region shorter than that of north region.That means that overall opening two-child policy has its economic background,however,there was relative importance or urgency during different province.
