This thesis is divided into two parts,the first section analyses the factors impact in the Chinese e-commerce development on an economic level,information infrastructure level,educational level,technology level,urbanization level,human capital level,price index and living standard.By using Pearson correlation test and based on the time series data from 2000 to 2015,it is shown that Internet diffusion,Number of computers per hundred households,Mobile phone diffusion,Real GDP per capita,Per capita disposable income and Urbanization rate,have a strong correlation with the e-commerce development in china.The second section analyses the relationship between e-commerce development and the Chinese economic growth and its impact from an empirical perspective.Based on the two time series data(GDP and e-commerce transactions from 2000 to 2015),and based on the econometric method,by using DF-GLS unit root test,ordinary least squares method(OLS),co-integration test,error correction model,GLS method and Granger causality test,it is shown that e-commerce transactions promote economic growth,and there are short-term dynamic relationship between them and long term equilibrium.
