| Cold-chain logistics plays an instrumental part on promoting Chinese supply-side structural reforms. Compared to that of the developed countries,this fledgling industry found itself dealing with the huge gap between demand and supply. The "broken cold chain" effect,which deteriorates the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain,is mainly due to adoption failures, infrastructure and technology deficiency, as well as regulation ineffectiveness. This research paper aims to improve upon the logistics management system,so as to alleviate the dire effect of "broken cold chains" .This paper combed through documentation and field research on cold chain's market share, transportation facilities and temperature control technology, as well as market regulations both home and abroad. Through comparative analysis, this paper sums up the current issues which cause the "broken cold chain" effect thus hampers the development of cold chain domestically. Using fishbone analysis and HACCP, this paper pinpoints factors that significantly affects the above issues, and addresses such concerns by proposing suggestive approach accordingly.The ultimate goal of this paper resolved to provide reference standards for cold-chain road transportation and quality control system. Due to the limited scope of the research, such references need further amendments based on actual practices. More in-depth research is also needed for cold-chain facilities, transportation infrastructure, as well as information management system. |
