| At present,China’s economic development into the new normal,employment as a country’s livelihood,stability and expansion of employment has been the main macroeconomic objectives of domestic economic and social development,and the protection of full employment is the basis of the development of China’s harmonious society.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,the acceleration of the process of economic globalization has made the development of China’s industrial and foreign trade progress by leaps and bounds.The total import and export volume of trade has increased from US $ 542.556 billion in 2002 to US $ 3,377,708 million in 2015.The rapid development of industrial foreign trade not only provides a guarantee for China’s sustained economic growth,but also an effective way to solve the problem of employment in China.In order to stabilize and expand the employment of labor in the industrial sector,it is necessary to fully clarify the effect of industrial import and export trade on employment.Because of the gap between the economic development and the opening level of China’s various regions,it is necessary to explore the regional differences in the impact of industrial import and export trade on labor employment,which will help to improve the employment rate and ensure the coordinated development of various regions,For the "thirteen" during the government to better improve the employment policy to provide empirical research support.This paper first collates and describes the relevant literature and information on the relationship between international trade and employment,including the summary of theoretical basis and the summary of empirical literature.The theoretical literature mainly elaborates from the earliest traditional international trade theory to the modern trade development strategy theory according to the time order.And then through the use of other scholars of economic research methods,sort out the import and export trade,respectively,the impact of employment mechanism.On this basis,the paper analyzes the impact of import and export trade on China’s employment changes and explores the differences in employment between the three regions from the perspective of the overall industrial,gender and high-tech industries,using the provincial panel data from 2002 to 2014.Finally,combined with China’s economic,regional development and the characteristics of the development of the labor market put forward the feasibility of comments and suggestions.The article concludes that,for export trade,whether from the whole industry,or from different gender and high-tech industry point of view,the export has a significant effect on industrial employment in the eastern,central and western regions,and the influence is reduced from east to west.For the import,the overall industrial imports on the eastern region of industrial employment from a negative impact on the central and western regions of industrial employment is to promote the role of high-tech industry imports are suppressed in the eastern,central and western regions of labor employment.It is noteworthy that the impact of export trade on male labor employment is greater than that of women.For other variables,the rise in labor wages is not conducive to the increase in employment;on the contrary an area of industrial output increased significantly increased the local employment level.The level of education has a significant positive impact on the employment of the country’s labor force,and the impact of the employment at the regional level is reduced from east to west.The impact of technological progress on employment is positive,but the role of industrial employment in the eastern and western regions is not obvious.Finally,through the study of the relationship between China’s import and export trade and employment,the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on how to change the economic and trade methods,speed up technological change,coordinate regional development and eliminate gender discrimination. |
