Energy is the basic need of human society and economic development.In today's energy market,natural gas energy has attracted attentions from all over the world.With the development of science and technology,especially with people's higher requirements of their existence,living condition and quality of life,natural gas as a clean,low pollution,high efficiency,high quality,low cost and ideal ecological energy,has been widely recognized by the international community and twenty-first Century has entered a "Times of natural gas ".From a strategic point of view,the development of natural gas industry is in line with the world's energy development trend.Especially at this stage,due to the needs of environmental protection,automobile gas business has become the focus of market competition among major oil and gas companies.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background,purpose and significance of the topic,states the main method used in this research.Then it explains the relevant theories of strategic management in this project.This covers the concept and the development of enterprise strategic management,which includes the enterprise strategic management concept and development stage of enterprise strategic management theory;research methods of enterprise strategic management theory includes PEST analysis,Potter five forces model and SWOT analysis;the process of strategic management;strategic situation of enterprise development and the basic competitive strategy,this includes the basic competitive strategy and focus strategy of development of enterprise.Thirdly,this paper summarizes the natural gas business of SL Company.This section mainly points out the current situation of SL Company's business scope relates to automobile natural gas production and marketing.The fourth part of this essay studies the strategic environment analysis of the automobile natural gas business of SL Company.In view of the strategic environment analysis of SL Company's natural gas business,the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats are analyzed by SWOT analysis method.And to analyze the existing problems in market segments,management system and other issues the PEST analysis and the Potter five forces model are used.Fifth,SL automobile natural gas business strategic choice is reviewed in this paper.A detailed analysis is made on the development strategy of the automobile natural gas business of SL Company,and put forward the implementation of the development strategy of SL company automobile natural gas business.The sixth chapter summarizes the full text.This paper focuses on the analysis of SL Company,but as the problems in this research are common,the research will play a certain role to Chinese oil and natural gas development,and also to the reform of oil and automobile natural gas business.The study on the development strategy of automobile natural gas for SL Company will provide a reference model for Chinese oil and gas enterprise development.
