Urban water system is an important part of the city, the water resources stored in urban water system and the. water ecological environment around are also meaningful to the urban development. With the speed of urban development and urbanization and the urban population also continues to grow, the urban water demand is increasing, the pressure of the ecological environment water continues to rise according to the urban development. Therefore, We investigate the interactions between urban water system and urban development, is conducive to easing conflict between them and promote coordinated coexistence; urban water system is the lifeblood of the city, it is also an important aspect of the construction of ecological civilization. In the party's 18 report, the construction of ecological civilization in a prominent position overall layout, which was upgraded to a strategic height-"Five in One" of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. and vigorously promote the construction of ecological civilization, lead the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. Therefore, studying the interactions between urban water system and urban development is of theoretical and practical significance.In this paper, we researched water resources reserves and water ecological environment's influence on urban development from the perspective of urban drainage system evolution. On the basis of field investigation, access to a large number of literature, using the method of normative analysis, summarized the overall process of Xi 'an water system evolution; Using the method of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis to analysis the urban water system evolution mechanism of the influence on urban development, and on the basis of qualitative analysis combined with the surey data, and explain its performance has been revealed through quantitative calculation, the change and relationship. Finally we used the data of Urban development, exploitation and utilization of water resources and water ecological environment protection in Xi 'an from 2005 to 2015, analyzed the urban water system evolution influence on urban development from the angle of quantitative.This article mainly includes the following research results:(1) Summarized The evolution course of water system in Xi 'an, the main content includes:1) The direction of the river in Xi'an was influenced by the geological tectonic movement, they were migrating from southeast to northwest,2) the total water resources reduced by the Weather turned cold, 3) water ecological environment is affected by human ecological activity and continued to deteriorate.(2) Researched the ancient water system evolution in Xi'an on the qualitative analysis of the impact of urban development, the main content includes: 1) With the continued evolution of the ancient xi 'an river drainage of the xi'an area of irrigation capacity and shipping capacity continues to decline; 2) the urban water supply security is gradually reduced by soil erosion and water resources decreasing; 3) and the ecological environment deteriorating over time with more frequent droughts and floods. 4) Comprehensive above factors, as the city supplies security, water resources is difficult to meet the demand of development, and regional ecological environment worsening, lead to urban development in Xi 'an gradually decline since the tang dynasty.(3) Researched the modern water system evolution in Xi 'an on the qualitative analysis of the impact of urban development, the main content includes: 1) Introduced system coupling coordination degree model, and selected 7 factors with 27 evaluation indexes, constructed the urban development and water system coordination degree evaluation index system. 2)Calculated the data in Xi 'an from 2005 to 2015 and concluded that: The coupling coordination degree has increased from 0.0356 the imbalanced level to 0.8868 the coordinate level; the interactions between urban water system and urban development changed from contradiction relation to harmonious symbiotic relationship.(4) According to the results of qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation,summarized the internal relation between the evolution of the water system in Xi 'an and the development of the city, and puts forward some Suggestions for the proper coordination of the symbiotic relationship, aims to protect the city development and surrounding water conservation, with Practical guidance.
