Slab-yard is one of the important logistics nodes in thesteelmanufacturing.It is the finished product storage of the steel making process and the raw material storage of the hot rolling process,has an important influence on the production of the whole processes.There is a large number of stacking positions and slabs in the slab yard,which has complicated properties and state.If we only rely on manual operation,not only the efficiency will be low,but also we will be easy to be affected by the limitations of human thinking.Base on the research on the optimization of storage management,mathematicalmodelsareestablished,the appropriate algorithm is designed,and the software of slab-yard management system is developed.On the basis of studying the technical literatureat home and abroad,thecharacteristics of logistics for the actual productionfor integrated steel production is analyzed,the model of production logistics is established.The models for slab storage and discharge are established base on the same target,which is to ensure the integrated production rhythm and to reduce the crane workload.For the slab required storage,the matching degree of each index in the form of parameters is setted in a limited scope of production procedures,aimed at the highest sum of matches,a slab storage model is designed.In order to reduce the stack count,a slab discharge model is designed,which change the slab order in the rolling schedule on the premise of meeting the rolling schedule.A Continual Best-Fit(CBF)algorithm is designed to solving the first model which references theclassical heuristic algorithm to solving the packing algorithm and consider the continuity of slab production.Another inertia weighdiscrete particle swarm optimization is used to solve the second model.Experimental data show the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm.A slab-yard management system is developed,which can be able to validate the model and algorithm,can be used as a management system in slab yard to manage the actual production.The main interface and operation flow of the system are introduced at the end.
