Study On The Development Strategy Of Dalian TEDA WITHUB Industrial Park

As the sustained economic growth, social integration and sci-tech innovation, a lot of industrial parks were established after the reform and opening-up policy. Many of them have made the considerable achievements under the national and local government support. However, there are still quite a large number of the science and technology industrial parks are not operated successfully, and some of them even degenerated to ‘ghost city' ‘barren town'. It becomes particularly important to generate the appropriate development strategies for those science and technology industrial parks so that they can use better of the national social and economic development opportunities.Liaoning province is an important part of the northeastern rust belt, and as the pacesetter in the development of Liaoning, Dalian City is always at the forefront of the science and technology innovation. Among those industrial parks that have been established and are being planned, technologic innovation and modern service industry grip a good part of the share. However, the establishment of the high-tech industrial parks is not going off without a hitch – financing, investment, talents, especially the choice of strategic direction will affect the planning and construction of the industrial parks.Take Dalian TEDA WITHUB Industrial Park as an example, in this article, it comparing the status which relevant and conducting research in Dalian TEDA WITHUB Industrial Park's current situation, to find out the method for development strategy of the industrial park and further promote its progression.This paper begins with the background and significance of the research, detailed analyses the research methods, content, current situation, and innovated points. Then discusses the relevant research theories, including the basic theory of strategy management, the theory of eco-industrial park and the theory of sustainable development.
