| As two important socialist countries in today’s world,Vietnam and Cuba are both upholding and developing socialism under the guidance of theories of socialism.The two countries have made great achievements and drawn the world’s attention since the reform and opening of economic development.In the current academic research,separate academic researches on the economic development of Vietnam or Cuba are more than the comparative study of theory and practice of economic development of both the two countries.This paper,by reviewing the theory and practice of economic development of history and present situation of Vietnam and Cuba,and analyzing traditional socialist mode as well as theory and practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the change of international situation’s other factors’ impact on the economic development of Vietnam and Cuba,focuses on analysis of the similarities of economic development of the two countries from the Material Basis,the Production Data Ownership,the Distribution System,the Reform of State-owned Enterprises,the Party’s goal and Open Policy,and concludes the achievements and difficulties faced by the two countries’ economic development in regional environment,land ownership,economic reform and industrial structure.This paper combs,summarizes,and compares the economic development theory and practice of Cuba and Vietnam from the personality to generality.It also analyzes general experience of economic development in socialist countries,using the dialectical relation principle of universality and particularity in the analysis of contradictory analysis.providing valuable lessons for the economic development of socialist countries anddeveloping countries.Meanwhile,it enriches and develops the theory and practice of scientific socialism,and most importantly,makes people be firmly committed to the belief that socialist countries will meet challenges and go to new glory in the international community in the future. |
