The advent of information age brings new challenges to enterprise human resource management.On one hand,the situation of leading has transformed a lot,E-leadership came into being.On the other hand,employees have more autonomy and flexibility in terms of work,their working process is more difficult to monitor.Therefore,the phenomenon of "cyber slacking" is widespread,namely,employees use Internet to do something that irrelevant to work during working hours.This kind of low engagement phenomenon seriously affects work efficiency.This phenomenon arouses attention of both practice and academia,how to improve employee engagement in the information age has become a difficult problem.In such context,it is even harder to improve employee engagement via traditional supervisory control alone.It is e-leadership that can influence the mind set of employees,stimulating their internal drive to improve working engagement,thus,reducing cyber slacking.Based on social exchange theory and resource conservation theory,combined with qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,this study,initially,built a conceptual frameworks to explore the relationship of e-leadership,employee engagement and perceived organizational support;then,this study collected 488 valid samples,SPSS19.0 and Amos17.0 were used to deeply analyze the impact path of e-leadership on employee engagement,also the differences of e-leadership,employee engagement and perceived organizational support on the demographic variables.Finally,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)e-leadership has a significant positive impact on employee engagement and its dimensions(vigor,dedication,absorption)as well as organizational support;(2)perceived organizational support has a significant positive effect on employee engagement and its dimensions(vigor,dedication,absorption);(3)perceived organizational support plays an partially intermediary role in the impact path of e-leadership on employee engagement(vigor,dedication,absorption),(4)e-leadership has a higher level in foreign company,employee engagement and perceived organizational support is higher in the company which has a higher usage frequency and willingness of information technology.This study extends the research in the field of e-leadership,enriches the empirical study of employee engagement,providing a theoretical support and new ideas for human resource management practices in the information age.
