A Study On The Coupling And Coordinated Development Of Tourism Industry And Regional Economy In Urumqi

In recent years,the national and local government pay more and more attention to the tourism industry.In order to promote the development of Urumqi national economy,national tourism administration has made strong support to the tourism industry in Urumqi.But in the process of regional development,the degree of mutual promotion between the tourism industry and the regional economy is not exactly proportional.When the regional economy to support the tourism industry,the tourism industry may not be able to give the region a better economic feedback.This paper comprehensively analyzes the development of tourism industry and regional economy in Urumqi,and explores the degree of coupling and coordination between tourism industry and regional economy.This can promote the coordinated development of tourism industry and regional economy in Urumqi,so as to give full play to its role as the growth pole of Xinjiang’s capital,and drive the overall development of Xinjiang.This article takes Urumqi as the research object,and qualitatively analyzes the realistic foundation that the coordinated development of the tourism industry and the regional economy in Urumqi,according to the theory of regional economic development and the theory of industrial structure evolution.It sorts out the mechanism of the interaction between the tourism industry and the regional economy drawing on the research of the existing scholars.And the model is established by means of the coupling function in physics.This paper discusses the coupling and coordination of tourism industry and regional economy in Urumqi from 2005 to 2014 by mathematical statistics.This paper uses the gray correlation method to analyze the degree of correlation among the various factors within the system,which provides the basis for the coordinated development of tourism industry and regional economy in Urumqi.The main conclusions are as follows:First,the tourism industry and regional economy of Urumqi are susceptible to emergencies,and the tourism industry is affected more than the regional economy.However,the recovery rate of the tourism industry is faster than that of the regional economy after emergencies.Second,over the past decade,the coupling degree of tourism industry and regional economy in Urumqi had remained above 0.95.The coupling degree of the two was very stable and the coupling was in good condition.Third,since 2011,the development of tourism industry in Urumqi was relatively slow,and in 2014 it has been a downward trend.Although this does not affect the degree of coordination with the regional economy,we still need focus on this in the next few years.From the perspective of coupling coordination,its development can be divided into three stages.Fourth,the income of inbound tourism has the greatest influence on the comprehensive benefit of tourism industry,and the correlation degree between each factor and the comprehensive benefit of tourism industry is not significant;The number of Internet users has the greatest influence on the comprehensive benefit of regional economy,the number of corporate enterprises with the above limit is the least affected,and the correlation degree between each factor and the comprehensive benefit of regional economy is quite different.Fifth,in order to achieve tourism industry and regional economic quality coordination,this paper presents the following four suggestions: Strengthen social stability and improving safety and security capabilities;Paying attention to regional cooperation and speeding up border market development;Adhering to the government-led and increasing tourism investment;Combining with market demand and cultivating new forms of tourism.
