Research On Cross-border “Embedded” Growth Mechanism Of Xinjiang Enterprises

Since 1980,the external environment is becoming more and more complicated than before.The network,as a special form of organization with transaction governance and resource integration effect,attracts lots of academic attention,and the network growth has become an important branch of enterprise growth theory.Transnational operation of Xinjiang enterprises is actually an entrepreneurial behavior,and they should develop their core business to expand enterprise scale.At the same time,for the lack of resources,they should also integrate the resources of their partners by participating network.Therefore,the thesis introduces how Xinjiang enterprises realize growth by transnational operation from the angle of network embeddedness.Based on the general research way of "theory-model-case",taking TBEA as the research object,the thesis researches the internal mechanism of enterprise growth about transnational embeddedness from the perspective of value creation.The first part of the thesis summarizes up and sorts out the existing literature.By analyzing enterprise growth theory,the author puts forward the idea of explaining enterprise growth with network theory;by analyzing value chain theory,puts forward that the increase of value activities will make enterprises create more value,and widen the physical boundary of enterprises;by analyzing enterprise network theory,the author points out that the business ecosystem can better explain the complex cooperation among enterprises,and by cooperating with other members,the enterprises can achieve visual growth.The second part of the thesis puts forward that through transnational embeddedness,Xinjiang enterprises can realize growth from two aspects: physical growth and virtual growth.The third part of the thesis elaborates on how Xinjiang enterprises realize growth by transnational embeddedness.The fourth part of the thesis discusses the realizing mechanism of “embeddedness” growth.In the fifth part,a case study of TBEA is made to support and confirm the viewpoint.The last part of the thesis summarizes several conclusions as bellows:(1)the cross-border“embedded” growth of Xinjiang enterprises is a applicable growth model.(2)The achievement of cross-border “embedded” growth of Xinjiang enterprises depends on two value creating ways: one is to create value by value chain,which is a traditional way of value creating;the other is to create value by business ecosystem,which emphasizes integrating complementary resources by connection.(3)The location choice is veryimportant for transnational operation,and only by improving the ability of integrating resources and making full use of community,the cross-border “embedded” growth can be achieved.
