Research Of Management Performance And Model Of Family Farms In Zhangye

The growth of family farms is a gradual process,it is also the key step of traditional agriculture to modern agriculture.As a result in 2016,no.1 Central Document has been laying emphasis on vigorously promoting agricultural modernization.As a new type of agricultural management subject,the family farm has been the development trend of modern agriculture which isone of the means of embodiment of agricultural modernization.Meanwhile is one of the important components of the new agricultural management system.It is an important link and inevitable choice to promote the transformation of agricultural production,to develop modern agriculture and to improve international competitiveness.Zhangye in gansu province is the first city to implement family farm.Agriculture and related sectors have introduced a series of policy and measures which develops of family farms is maturing.Many disputes existed in theoretical research,which leads to many contradictions in practice due to the family farms are in exploratory stage in China.The definition of the family farm and its relationship with other new agricultural subjects are discussed by combing with my own understanding based on the reality of the development of family farms in Zhangye in this paper.Secondly,the family farm in Zhangye is analyzed based on the PESTEL model.And then,75 different operating-state family farms are selected as the samples,current situation of family farm in Zhangye are analyzed in detail after investigation.Lack of access mechanism,low degree of agricultural products brand,single sales channels and government subsidies are main issues of family farms in Zhangye after statistical analysis.Thirdly,A comprehensive evaluation of the performance of the family farms in Zhangye is carried out more deeply and the performance evaluation indexs of economical,technological,social and ecological benefits are constructed based on the analysis of the current situation,and the weights of each index are calculated and the performance scores of each family farm are estimated according to the field survey data by using the improved analytic hierarchy process(AHP),the results show that although the number of family farms is growing rapidly,the overall performance is low and the development is unbalanced.Therefore,the factors of affecting the performance of the evaluation system is built from the macro and micro two aspects,and the important factors affecting performance are analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis,and the results show that the degree of social service system and the scale of management have significant impacts on performance.Then,combined with the case summary,the development model of Zhangye farm is mainly composed of single large-scale planting and breeding type,ecological planting and breeding combination and diversified development and detailed analysis it from the management characteristics,patterns,advantages and disadvantages.In the successful experiences of development of family farms in Shanghai,Anhui and other regions,It is considered that ecological breeding combined with planting and diversified typical model development are suitable for the future development of the family farm in Zhangye.Finally,mentalities and concrete methods that are suitable for family farms in Zhangye and policy suggestions that how does the government grasp the development direction are put forward according to the lack of the development of family farms in Zhangye.
