Research On Financial Subsidies For Encouraging International Trademark Registration In Quanzhou

In recent years,Chinese enterprises are accelerating the international business development,and trademarks of Chinese enterprise are widening the influence internationally.Following this,preemption of Chinese trademarks occurs frequently abroad,and the Chinese enterprises have no option but to quit the international market or to redeem the trademark with huge cost.Trademark preemption has warned domestic enterprises to protect their trademark internationally.Some local governments are paying great attention to trademark protection internationally,and have promulgated subsidy policy on international trademark registration.By guidance of government funding,the governments are encouraging enterprises in overall planning of international trademark registration,to reduce the enterprise' risk of quitting international market,and to further lay the foundation for future brand development.As an area with private enterprises growing vigorously and with mature export-orientated business development,Quanzhou City has become aware of the trademark problem earlier than other cities,and encouraged private enterprises to put trademark international registration as a key step in the international business development,in order to provided financial subsidies for enterprise Madrid international trademark registration,guide the enterprises on protecting their overseas trademark,and to promote the international market development,as well as to build international brand.With the subsidy policy implemented in the past four years,the initiative in registering international trademark has been strengthened,the concept of �product exportation accompanying trademark registration� has been recognized and promoted,and 291 cases of Madrid trademark registration have been issued in Quanzhou City,with a ratio increase of 62.58%,which greatly reduce the risk of trademark preemption abroad.This article starts with the current status and problems of Chinese trademark international registration.First of all,the author applying government intervention theory argues that the government should take advantage of its own advantages and lead the market principal make a reasonable decision and enhance the effectiveness of economic growth.Then,it analyzes factors affecting the effectiveness international trademark registration policy based on questionnaire and interview with two enterprises.Based on the above studies,it puts forward the suggestion improving the subsidy policy for international trademark registration,in order to provide theoretical and practical guidance to the development of enterprise internationalization.
