With the intensification of economic globalization, the global economy is more closely linked, and competition is intensifying. In the harsh economic situation and fierce competition in the industry, a enterprise is hit?destroyed, or restores vitality, which is an important test of survival and development. In the business and development process, with the external environment changes enterprises need to make the appropriate strategic adjustment dynamically:to re-examine its strategic positioning, to reflect on its strategic planning, if necessary, to implement the appropriate strategic transformation. In recent years, the glass industry is affected by domestic and international market environment; the main business enterprises are facing severe challenges.This paper studies the strategic transformation of Luoyang Glass Company of NG, a large enterprise in the glass industry, as the research object. Through the analysis of its current strategy and environment, it clarifies the content of the strategic transformation of the enterprise and puts forward the implementation guarantee. The study believes that, the current glass industry opportunities and challenges are coexisting. On the one hand the demand have declined by the recession impact of real estate and other related industries, on the other hand market segments such as low-E glass,environment friendly glass and other products are in strong demand. As a leader in the industry the company has many development advantages,such as technology, research and development capability, production capacity, but also there are many bottlenecks affecting its development. In order to comply with the government's macroeconomic policy and market demand, Luoyang glass company need to take steps to a variety of product layout to improve the industrial structure, focus on the development of advantageous industries, enhance market competitiveness and then to achieve strategic objectives, and gradually form a strategic system with research and development as the core,market-oriented,efficient production?precision marketing and effective financial management as the guarantee.
