Since 2016,the retail industry has become more and more competitive,and the vigorous development of e-commerce further squeeze the living space of the retail industry,which put forward new requirements of the development and transformation of the retail industry.The retail industry is one of the industries with the highest turnover rate,while the retail industry is labor intensive industry.How to retain excellent employees,to reduce employee turnover rate is the problem that every enterprise should seriously consider.Career growth is one of the predictive variables of turnover intention,however,many retail enterprises has not give enough attention on it yet.Study on the relationship between career growth and turnover intention,has important significance for the long-term and stable development of enterprises.In this study,we construct the model of the effect of career growth on turnover intention,and study the effect of dimensions of career growth including the progress of career goals,the improvement of professional ability and the growth of organizational returns on turnover intention.With the introduction of job stress as a moderator variable,the moderating effects of various dimensions of job stress on the relationship between career growth dimensions and turnover intention were studied.In this paper,429 employees of M company were investigated by questionnaire,empirical analysis are conducted by SPSS 22,and draw the following conclusions: career growth has a negative effect on the turnover intention,and the progress of career goals,the improvement of professional ability has significant negative effect on turnover intention but the effect of the growth of organizational returns on turnover intention is not significant.Job pressure on the career growth and turnover intention has some regulatory role.Workload pressure enhance the predictive ability of the improvement of professional ability on turnover intention,Interpersonal pressure reduce the predictive ability of the improvement of professional ability on turnover intention.Role stress reduce predictive ability of the progress of career goals on turnover intention According to the results of empirical research,some suggestions on the management of enterprises are given,enterprises should pay more attention on career growth of employee,increase the workload pressure moderately reduce interpersonal pressure and role stress of employee.
