This paper takes Guangdong Province as an economic unit and chooses the spatial structure of the industrial structure development level of Guangdong province as the research object, based on the macro background of the global industrial structure and the imbalance of the development level of industrial structure in Guangdong province. The location theory, regional structure theory and the regional division of labor theory based on the exploration of new spatial data analysis and spatial data analysis by using the method of empirical analysis, the period of 1994-2015 spatial correlation development level of the industrial structure of 21 cities in Guangdong province and the formation of the spatial pattern, and the cause of this spatial pattern the empirical analysis. The results show that the development level of the industrial structure of the cities in Guangdong province has a significant positive correlation, the Pearl River Delta as the center, the spatial pattern of industrial structure development level in the peripheral area to decrease;and the spatial pattern unchanged for a long time, has very strong stability.Agglomeration is the fundamental reason for the formation of the spatial pattern, and transportation, institutional advantages and other factors of production to a certain extent affected the formation of the "core periphery" structure, and this effect changes over time.Based on the research results, this paper argues that Guangdong should adopt the strategy of layered development. On the one hand,to consolidate the core position of the Pearl River Delta, improve its international competitiveness,to participate in international division of labor; On the other hand, the peripheral areas should cooperate with the Pearl River Delta region to promote the economic development of Guangdong.
