The significant influence of knowledge spillover under industrial structure on industrial development has been a topic of debate at home and abroad. There are three main points of view: MAR knowledge spillovers believe that knowledge originates mainly from companies in the same industry, and the specialization of industrial structure can lead to the creation and dissemination of knowledge. The growth of the industrial economy, while the knowledge spillover of Jacobs believes that knowledge mainly comes from companies in different industries, the more diversified the industrial structure is,the more conducive to economic growth;and the knowledge spillover of Porter believes that the highly competitive industrial environment will help encourage the company to continue to innovate, and the monopoly is unfavorable to knowledge innovation and economic growth. In this paper,we use hierarchical data space econometric model to empirically study the knowledge spillover effect of Guangdong industrial industry.Specifically, using the threedimensional panel data(area, industry and time)of 21 cities and 31 industrial industries in Guangdong province(area, industry and time)for 2005-2016 years, and considering spatial correlation, time factor and hierarchy nesting effect,a hierarchical data spatial econometric model is set up,and the industrial industry in Guangdong Province is analyzed with the industrial structure angle. The influence of knowledge spillover effect on its economic development. The research of this paper is divided into two parts:First, theoretical research. This paper mainly completes two tasks: combing the related concepts of knowledge spillover and the empirical research on industrial structure, summarizing the existing problems, and putting forward the solution of this paper.Through reading the literature, the empirical theoretical model and economic calculation model of knowledge spillovers are determined, and the computer software is used to solve the problems.Process technology.Second, empirical research.Using the classical panel data econometric model, the panel data spatial econometric model, the three-dimensional panel data SUR spatial econometric model and the hierarchical data spatial econometric model, the knowledge spillover effect of the industrial industry in Guangdong province is based on the number spillover index and the industrial added value spillover index in turn.Carry on the empirical analysis. The conclusions of empirical research on knowledge spillover effect in Guangdong's industrial sector are as follows.(1)Due to the consideration of spatial correlation, the panel data spatial econometric model is better than the classical panel data econometric model.Considering the time factor, the SUR spatial econometric model of 3D panel data is better than the coefficient estimation of the econometric model of panel data space.Hierarchical nesting effect, hierarchical data space econometric model is better than 3D panel data SUR spatial econometric model for coefficient estimation. Therefore, the empirical results of hierarchical data space econometric model are the most significant and the best estimate is achieved.(2)From a theoretical point of view, the use of the calculation index of industrial added value indicates that the number of enterprises participating in the increase in unit value of industry can reflect the actual situation of industrial development.Any industry can use the industrial added value as the evaluation standard. From the perspective of economic reality, the higher the degree of market concentration of industrial industries, the greater the degree of monopolization, the more conducive to promoting the spread of knowledge among industrial enterprises and the advantages of monopolizing agglomeration. However,if there is greater competition within the industrial industry,in order to maintain their respective competitiveness, companies will keep their own core technical knowledge strictly confidential and will not carry out too many exchange activities with each other, which is not conducive to the spread and spread of knowledge. Therefore,it is more reasonable to adopt an empirical theoretical model based on industrial value-added overflow indicators.(3)From 2005 to 2016,the knowledge spillover effect of MAR in Guangdong's industrial industry was significantly positive, indicating that the specialized industrial structure is conducive to the spread and diffusion of knowledge within the same industry, thus stimulating the development of the industrial economy. The Jacobs knowledge spillover effect in the industrial industry of Guangdong is positive, which indicates that the diversified industrial structure is beneficial to the spread and diffusion of knowledge among different industries, that is,knowledge spillover exists not only in the same industry but also in different industries. The Porter knowledge spillover effect in the industrial industry of Guangdong province is significantly negative, which indicates that the monopoly rather than the competitive industrial structure is beneficial to the spread and diffusion of knowledge. In the region of different economic development levels, the MAR knowledge spillover effect and the Jacobs knowledge spillover effect of the Pearl River Delta region are stronger, and the Porter spillover effect of the Pearl River Delta region is also stronger than that of the non Pearl River Delta region.
