Research On The Product Quality Improvement Of Ring Gear In S Company Based On DMAIC

With the development of global economic integration,how to obtain the rapid development has become a real question in the competitive landscape.It does not only need the company's brand,scale and speed of response,but also needs to get the customer satisfaction with the production.Six sigma management has provided the advanced management mode and improving methods for the enterprise development.This essay focus on that by using Six Sigma DMAIC process help the S company to improve the product quality.By the feedback presence from the customers and the quality status of the internal gear production,determine the project objectives,and identify the key characteristics of the high rate of unqualified product,namely the ring pin hole diameter and the position of the pin hole.By process capability analysis,make sure whether need to improve the whole process.By process analysis and fishbone diagram analysis,identify the potential factors that maybe exist.By the use of FMEA,make a measurement of screened several factors,likely suppliers' difference,the difference in operational personnel,the influence of temperature,measuring errors affect the tool and so on.At the stage of analysis,using single value chart,box plot,etc.,make a determination about the key factors,namely personnel operation difference,the effect of temperature,a greater impact on the process of measuring caused error.After analysis of these three factors,take improvement action.In the controlling phase,in order to confirm the improvement to carry out,develop mechanisms to avoid backing to the old process.In this research,MINITAB is used to analyze the data.Through the DMAIC processing improvement,improvement scheme is put forward to reduce the company S internal gear ring nonconforming rate.The rate of defective products is reduced.And propose the effective suggestion and the problem that can occur.During the research,have a new cognition of six sigma DMAIC process.
