| With the deepening of the urbanization process, the urban agglomeration has become the mainstream and trend of the global urban economic development. The Urban Agglomeration in middle reaches of Yangtze River is another planning of national city group after the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.Its obvious advantages of economic location and a strong momentum of development. It is expected to become an important economic growth pole of the central region of China and even the whole country’s.As a regional newborn, the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River needs strong theoretical and practical guidance for its cultivation and development. At present, the research on the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is not enough, and there is still much room for exploration. Therefore, this paper takes it as the research object, hoping to contribute something to the research of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river. The study area consists of 31 cities including Wuhan city circle,Chang Zhu Tan city group and Poyang Lake city group.Taking the city economic spatial linkage as the starting point, then introduction of network analysis, combining theory and practice, through comprehensive analysis of qualitative and quantitative methods of Yangtze River city group economic network structure, grasp the evolution of the current situation and development trend of Yangtze River city group from the two dimensions of time and space.Through the research, the main conclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,It has a well-developed transportation infrastructure, and has a good economic location conditions. However, the level of development is lagging behind, and the gap is large between the eastern coastal developed cities. The central city’s economic outward function needs to be improved, and the influence of economic is not enough to drive the rapid development of the whole region.(2)With the development of the city, the relationship between the cities has been strengthened, and the way of urban contact has the characteristics of multi center and radial.Among them, the central city of Wuhan and Changsha have played a strong role in leading the radiation.Nanchang’s central position has yet to be strengthened, and even the leading role of the regional cities in Poyang Lake is also lacking.(3)There are two characteristics of economic spatial connection, which are the central point of view and the adjacent orientation. The intensity of interaction is mainly affected by the economic scale, the degree of convenience and the proximity of the region.(4)There are great differences in economic relations between different regions, and the overall relationship of economics has not enough. From the geographical point of view, the cities along the railway of Beijing-Guangzhou,Hu-Kun,Chang-jiu line are link more closely, while the northwest of Hubei and Hunan and southeast of Jiangxi area are weak economic ties. From the time point of view, the level of economic interaction between the cities has been significantly improved from 2007 to 2015.However,there is still a lack of overall economic spatial linkage between cities, especially the degree of interaction between the provinces and cities is very low.(5)The region presents a "small group" structure.Cluster analysis can be divided into four sub groups in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,in which the Wuhan city circle and the Chang Zhu Tan urban agglomeration are respectively a sub group, the Poyang Lake urban agglomeration is divided into two subgroups. The internal cohesion of each subgroup is strong, the relationship is close, while the economic cohesion between subgroups is weak, and the development is relatively isolated.(6)The Urban Agglomeration in middle reaches of Yangtze River economic spatial linkage is sensitive to the scope of administrative boundaries, and the economic links between each city in the inter provincial boundary appeared distinct level segmentation phenomenon. |
