Since the 21 st century,our country economy has always kept a steady and rapid development,online tourism as a new industry which is closely linked with the Internet,its effect in promoting economic growth is increasingly obvious.The steady and rapid growth,forced the world to pay more attention to the importance of the increasing role played by tourism to promote economic development at a global range.The rising and development of tourism that has a remarkable performance globally,attracted many entrepreneurs to join to become tourism practitioners.Per the current situation,online travelling industry is in a critical period of development,with the elevation of the consumption level,came the unprecedented market demand and customer experience,the new tide of tourism keeps rising especially with the upsurge of mobile Internet,the mobile Internet platform gradually becomes online travel battleground between enterprises.Thanks to the growth of tourism market and the increasing permeability,broad prospects has been brought to online travel market.But starting late,undeveloped technology and the unperfected laws and regulations,gives the development of China's online travel resistance,the local industry needs more lessons from successful companies abroad.At present,the domestic online travel companies have noticed these problems,and began to combine with our national conditions,and are set to develop truly suitable domestic online travel market model.This paper first briefly introduces the general situation of China's online travel industry,as well as the basic stage it's on,and provides the problems faced by the online travel industry.Secondly,it introduces the development course and present situation of Ctrip.Then,through the study of the PEST and SWOT,it shows analysis of the core competitive advantages and disadvantages of Ctrip.Later,according to the problems existing in the online travel industry,combined with the current situation of the development of Ctrip,provides Suggestions of improvement and the suggestion.Finally,a summary of the problems and methods that this thesis mainly studies,suggests how online travel industry development in the future for Ctrip,further foresees the prospect of the development of online travel.In this article the final point is,that to continue to develop for Ctrip,and the entire online travel,and the entire online tourism industry,they need to seize the opportunity of rapid development of mobile Internet,rely on large data,product and operation mode of innovation,integration and cooperation,promote enterprise and industry online penetration.
