China automobile industry after 60 years of development,gradually from the small developing countries become the emerging forces of the automobile industry,the past six or seven years,the rapid development of the domestic market,to maintain a continuous sales in the world,has become the world’s largest auto market.With the rapid development of Chinese automobile market,problems are gradually exposed,at present,although the domestic market sales volume is huge,but most of the market share of the joint venture brands occupy;in the international market,domestic independent brand automobile exports also encountered difficulties.After years of development,although the local independent brand car prices have made considerable progress,but the product is still insufficient scientific and technological content,the lack of international competitiveness.The automobile industry China upward momentum in the global lead,China has become worthy of the name of car power and Chinese power from the car to car to realize the dream of power,has excellent independent brand car is necessary basis,it can be said that the independent brand car enterprises shouldering China realize the dream of a powerful car.So,even if the road is long,thorns everywhere,China’s own brand car must overcome difficulties,to achieve their prosperity and rise.Based on the research results at home and abroad,this paper makes a deeper and more effective way to improve the international competitiveness of China’s own brand cars.At present,the development of own brand cars has many problems: the domestic market share is low,it is difficult to shake the status of the joint venture brand;the vehicle technology is weak,external dependence is strong;small scale enterprises to achieve economies of scale;the lack of a strong independent brand automobile brand effect,low content of science and technology;product shortage,the profit space is small;the international market the distribution of limitations,lack of global brand awareness;traditional auto exports fell seriously affected by regional economic fluctuations and so on.Although the implementation of the "The Belt and Road" strategy for the Chinese car to further open the market of ASEAN opportunities,BYD new energy vehicles is rising,but the international competitiveness of domestic independent brand car problems are still prominent,improve its international competitiveness has become a pressing matter of the moment.The thesis mainly uses the SWOT model to a more comprehensive and systematic analysis and research,combined with the development of automobile industry in the United States and India,to the state and government support policies,enhance research and innovation capacity,strengthen the brand construction and the development of new energy vehicles and grasp the "The Belt and Road" strategic opportunity find a method to enhance the international competitiveness of China brands and suggestions.
