A Study On Corporate Z’s Investment Of "Internet Plus Logistics" Project And Evaluation

As managers of a small state-owned enterprise,they regard rental and sales of commercial estate and management of property as main business of company Z.When profitability of the enterprise fall sharply,managers start to establish subsidiaries and begin a strategic investment planning,and the direction of investment is an emerging industry called “Internet plus logistics”.They try to get a new way to gain profit,and try to achieve the transformation of a traditional commercial estate business to a new business with commercial real estate and Internet logistics together.However,before developing in the new field,the work of investment demonstration is not rationally enough,as some important data is inappropriate estimated,and the financial risk analysis of the company is seriously inadequate by accountants.Then,managers are overly optimistic about the prospects of the project,lead to blind investment decisions,and have the stagnant project after spending huge sums of money.The parent company is in a deeper financial distress,so the consequence is more serious than the original.It should be noted that such cases occur in many companies.In this paper,the author detailedly displays and analyse company Z ’s investment background、their own financial situation and investment reason,including the previous process of investment argument in this company,try to find the problems and make the preliminary conclusion that the previous process of investment argument is unreasonable.Then,after correcting related issues,the author makes the final conclusion that this project has infeasibility by the author’s own analysing and judging.She supports the new conclusion by the actual situation of this project unit operations.Finally,the author finds some failure reason from the view of financial affairs to list,and make suggestions to solve the current difficulties.
