A Company is a petrochemical engineering company,who has design,procurement,construction management business.And the main business is design.With the rapid development of A Company,the change of market environment,the increase of the project investment amount and the enhance of the industry competitiveness,the EPC projects' cost control management level is requested with higher request.The establishment and implementation of cost control system,which is suitable for the construction industry' conditions,is an effective way to implement the A Company' cost control system and make dynamic cost control come true,reduce project cost as well as improve the level of management.Based on the whole process of cost control theory and he organizational structure,control program of A Company,the paper is analysed cost control management condition on present situation and the problems on an EPC project cost control.The issues are: the lack of cost control on design process,inaccurate on confirm the control price and lack of management on construction subcontract.The above issues are summarized as process issues,control objectives and construction subcontract management issues.For the above aspects of the causes of genetic analysis and improvement to make up for the lack of cost control management system.At the heart of the system,A Company controls the cost of the project within the scope of the plan or the allowable deviation through continuous dynamic cost analysis and control management processes.The purpose of this paper is to improve the management level of A company's cost control and improve the revenue of general contracting projects,so as to improve the competitiveness of the company.The construction and implementation of cost control management system is to realize the systematic,dynamic and predictive of cost control management,and it has positive significance to promote the management of engineering construction projects,especially EPC projects.
