Study On The Problems And Strategies Of Public Transport Services Supply In Dalian Under Information-based Terms

Together with the development of cities and the popularity of cars,the traffic congestion,air pollution and other problems have become increasingly serious in larger cities.Furthermore,these problems,which called “urban disease”,have been the bottleneck for urban public transport development.Priority development of public transport is seen as the solution of these problems.Because public transportation has a lot of advantages such as: large capacity,saving energy and less pollution.So it can attract more people to travel by bus or subway but car,which may relieve the urban congestion and air pollution.But there has a lot of problems in Dalian's public transport services supply now,for example,the network of bus lines and transport capacity are unscientific,the fast cost growth make transport enterprises run into trouble,government financial subsidies for public transport are too high to last,citizens have put forward higher requirements for public transport services.It can no longer meet the needs of urban development.Into the information era,the rapid development of information technology has greatly changed the way people's life and production,the business and service model of many traditional industries has been influenced to certain extent.For public transport,a traditional industry,it is necessary to improve business management,the level of operations and service by actively using information technology.Only in this way,can we meet the increasingly requirements of the public transport services.According to the demanding of the central Party and government authorities about encouraging the preferentially development of urban public transport,we should encourage the development of intelligent transport,and promote the application of information technology in the operations management,service supervision and other aspects of urban public transport.This paper Taking Dalian as an example,using the literature analysis method to study the related theory and application technology.Based on detailed introduction of the existing public transport system,service provider,service supply mode,the paper find the problems existed in the public transport services system of government and enterprises,through the methods of interviews,literature analysis and questionnaire survey.Then it analyzes the causes,compares with the experience of other cities to research the solutions by using the information technology and prove it finally.This paper argues that the government should take measures to increase investment and policy guidance,covering the construction of information comprehensive monitoring system and advanced management platform,so as to improve the existing management mode of operation,the establishment of public service supply system is more close to the needs of the public,more efficient and more scientific and reasonable.
