Electric power industry is the basic industry of the country,and the financial manager of electric power enterprises plays an important role in the management of the company.However,in a lot of power enterprise development process,how to train,select,appoint a good financial manager is a key problem that many company human resources management faces,traditional focus on functional,transactional human resource management model is gradually revealing its inherent drawbacks,organizations need to develop a new model of human resource management.In the new economic era,human resource management based on competency is an important way for enterprises to gain competitive advantage.In the new economic times,human resource management based on competency is an important way for enterprises to gain competitive advantage.Through the research of this topic,further discuss the professional quality and ability of the financial manager of the power enterprise,how to cultivate the quality and ability of the financial manager.This paper states the theory of competency model,combined with the characteristics of electric power enterprises and the actual situation of G Power Group,construction of a power enterprise financial manager competency model from various aspects of the power enterprise financial manager should have the characteristics,reveal excellent financial manager of power enterprise should have what quality and ability,and the results were analyzed,the application value of this model to the management of financial manager of power enterprise is proposed.Through this model,it has practical guiding significance in the training,appointment,evaluation and evaluation of power enterprises in the financial manager.This thesis consists of five chapters,In the first chapter,I put forward the concept of competency,introduces the theoretical background of competency model,and expounds the significance of the research;The second chapter describes the G power group and its financial management status,pointed out the existing problems and the underlying reasons,put forward the necessity and feasibility of the application of competency model;The third chapter focuses on G power group finance manager competency model building process,through the investigation and questionnaire survey methods that G power group finance manager should have eleven key competency,to build the competency model,and a detailed analysis on 11 key competency Dictionaries;The fourth chapter elaborates the application of financial manager competency model in enterprise recruitment,performance management and personnel training;The fifth chapter is the part of conclusion and prospect,points out the application value of the model in the management of G power group financial manager.and describe the defect of the paper research and model application,propose the specific application to the model.
