Land consolidation is important for the construction of socialist new villages,which is also an indispensable part for agricultural improvement and farmland protection and plays an essential role in making mountain,water,forest,field,lake a harmonious integral.Land consolidation have been widely conducted over China in recent years and village agricultural production was improved accordingly,while ―quantity than quality‖ was common in many land consolidation projects,precautions was especially lack in projects aimed at maintain land sustainable development,regional biodiversity and ecological balance,therefor,ecological suitability evaluation is important.33 land consolidation projects were selected as target projects,after that 3 basic zones as western urban development zone,northeast ecological conservation zone and southeast ecological protection zone of Chongqing can be analyzed.Land formation,irrigation,farmland conservation and ecological protection was selected as evaluation index and the mathematical evaluation system was based on Maximum Minimum Normalization Method(MMN),Entropy Analytic Hierarchy Process(EAHP)and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method(FCEM).3 projects with different objective were in-depth studied and Fuling Longtan(FL),Dianjiang Pu Shun(DP),Shizhu Sanhe(SS)was selected to verify the result.Conclusions are as follows:(1)Zonal division method was constructed based on ―five functional zone‖ of Chongqing and land construction project construction standards,the specific analyzing was conducted according to data of 30 research areas.The consolidation object was divided as western urban development zone,northeast ecological conservation zone and southeast ecological protection zone.Given the division,the land consolidation projects in Chongqing was little in quantity and uneven distributed spatially,which was led by the unbalanced topological and socioeconomically conditions of Chongqing.Specifically,table slope and plots pattern have great effect on re gional agricultural production.Filed roads as well as irrigation network are scarce and its material s are poor.Meanwhile,steep terrain result in drainage ditch clogging in rainstorm seasons,which cause great damage on farmland.In research area,productive activities gained too much attention than ecological conservation,villagers’ quality of life was ignored.This happening mostly in southeast ecological protection zone of Chongqing.(2)The engineering layout after land consolidation was analyzed.For land formation,masseurs like grid farmland transformation and farmland sloop reducing had increased arable land area and make mechanized production more efficient.The quantity and quality of linear land feathers,field roads and irrigation network,wa s improved after land consolidation.For quantity,new field roads and irrigation network increased the total length and density of linear land feathers.For quality,hardening roads and dredging irrigation networks enhanced the usage efficiency of linear land feathers.Network structure characteristic index slightly increased,which indicate t he network structure was improved.But field protection and ecological conservation was ignored in most research area,the landscape was too simple and the engineerin g construction was not coordinated well with the general environment,the overall consciousness was weak.However,western urban development zone is generally the best among all the research zones.(3)The connotation of ecological suitability of land consolidation project evaluation,factors of current evaluation system,principle and index calculation method were studied in this research.15 indexes from aspects of land formation,field road,irrigation network,farmland protection and ecological conservation projects was selected to form the evaluation system.Meanwhile,a relatively simple calculation method was prosed given the index system operability and the data availability,which could perfect the basic index framework of the ecological suitability and the land consolidation project evaluation.(4)Ecological suitability evaluation model of land consolidation project was formed.Firstly,based on index system,Maximum Minimum Normalization Method was adopted to quantify the index.Secondly,Entrop y Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to determine the weight of index.Then,Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method was adopted to calculate the evaluation vector.Lastly,ecological suitability evaluation was achieved based on maximum membership principle.(5)3 projects were selected to verity the index,evaluation model and final result.FL was relatively appropriate,DP and SS was barely appropriate,which consist with the land consolidation layout of Chongqing.Hence the ecological sustainability evaluation system in this study can be furtherly adopted in the future land consolidation project,and the index system can perfect the formation of ecological sustainability evaluation system,works in this study could be a reference for the next study.
