Research On Countermeasures Of Farmers' Willingness To Participate In The Cultivated Land Protection

China's actual condition is with large amount of population and in shortage of land resource.With the sustained economic growth,there is increasing demand for agricultural product,therefore it requires adequate arable land for agricultural production.However the most severe challenge we need to face over the next 20 years is that the reduction of arable land and the low cultivation quality.Taking Anxi County as an example,this article is from the angle of farmers' willingness to participate in the protection of farmland and analyzes the current status of farmland protection in Anxi County according to the research data collected from the farmers.Then we can learn farmers' willingness of participation in the farmland protection from the status analysis.Then we can find the existing problems and factors that affect their willingness in farmland protection.At last we can draw out countermeasure from the perspective of Anxi county actual situation.The main conclusions of this article are as follows:Firstly,most people surveyed to some extent are willing to protect farmland.However,they don't know their own responsibilities and obligations involved during the process of arable land protection due to their unclear of farmland property rights.Most of the farmers involved in questionnaire are peasants and are in low education and they have limited understanding on farmland protection policies and relevant laws.In some extent,it affects the implementation of the farmland protection.The farmers hold the idea that their can reap certain benefits from farmland protection.But the compensation method from country is too single and compensation standard is low level,it is difficult to mobilize farmers' enthusiasm to farmland protection.Secondly,factors such as age,cultivated land area and land blocks inversely related to their willingness in farmland protection.Agricultural experience,education,labor population and people's satisfaction of government's work are positive correlated with their protection of farmland protection.Finally,when look back on different local situation,we strongly proposed to enhance publicity and then strengthen farmers farmland protection consciousness and improve rules and regulations.At last we have a clear understanding of property right and land compensation mechanism.
