Competitive Strategy Of Quanzhou Automobile Transport Company

With the High-Speed Railway Times coming,road passenger transportation especially for long-distance road passenger transportation has been affected severely,particularly in the cities along the high-speed railway lines.Road transportation with the parallel routes of high-speed railway also suffered a disaster.The amounts of road tourists in Quanzhou city has decreased significantly after Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway line opened in 2010.With the high-speed train running frequently and hanging more carriage,road transportation more than 200 kilometers was shocked more seriously.The opening of Hefei-Fuzhou and Xiamen-Shenzhen high-speed rail lines,the formation of national network of "four vertical and four horizontal" high-speed railway,the diversity of internet and the travel way,and the development of Midwest resulted in sharp falling in roads of tourists.The industries of road passenger transportation are facing of some issues such as the realignment of management,development and etc.This research will mainly study the competitive strategy of Quanzhou Automobile Transport Company(QATC).Wish to help the company to use their own advantages,scientific and rational competition strategies to ensure the sustainable and rapid development when they are facing the opportunities and challenges of the market.Based on the analysis of competitive strategy theory,the internal and external environment of QATC were also analyzed in detail.The five-force model,PEST analysis,SWOT analysis and other analysis tools,were used to identify the advantages and disadvantages of interior competition,to look for the opportunities and challenges of an enterprise.Several competition strategies models of the enterprise were obtained and selected.Finally,the competitive strategies of QATC were confirmed as low-cost expending,optimization and integration of resources,multiple development and multiple simultaneous under the maintaining core competences.The competitive strategy and security of QATC were described.QATC is one of typical road transportation companies in Fujian province.Based on the research of the competitive strategy,it is expected to take some references in the development of road transportation enterprises in Fujian province.
