In today's enterprise management,salary management is in a strategic position,is the core content of human resource management,salary management is a good solution to the development of enterprises is of great significance.With the advent of the knowledge-based economy,the salary incentive of knowledge workers becomes more and more important.However,in the social economy to market oriented mode when,many enterprises still use the past rigid salary management system,such compensation system will directly lead to a decline in the enterprise management and operation cost increases and the overall management level.You can't keep enterprises need excellent person,lose the substantive significance of the salary management,causes the enterprise to be in a vicious circle of compensation management.Therefore,how to design a scientific and reasonable salary system suitable for the development of Chinese enterprises is an urgent problem to be solved.It is in this context,based on the competency of the salary system came into being.This paper takes the G bank as an example to study the application of competency model in compensation management based on the competency evaluation of knowledge workers and the establishment of competency model.This paper analysis the G bank current salary system existing problem and competence based on the related theory,discusses the applicability of compensation mode based on competency,knowledge employees in G Bank of competency compensation system in G bank.
