A Research On The International Police Cooperation From The Perspective Of Game Theory

With the continuous development of transnational crime,police cooperation between countries strengthens constantly,which means that any country cannot handle any case of transnational crime without cooperating internationally.When comes to the transnational crimes,the domestic academic research on international police cooperation focuses on the perspective of law,international relations,international politics etc,while there are lacking of the research from the view of Game Theory.As a social science theory,Game Theory mainly studies how to make the optimal decision which fits for its own interests under the condition of the related and interdependent decision-makers.And it contains consistency for the Game Theory and the international police cooperation which includes the sovereignty and the common interests.This article gives a clear definition of international police cooperation from the innovative perspective,and analyzes the international police cooperation motivation and mechanism through this theory.Also,the paper analyses the guarantee mechanism of international police cooperation by the classic game model,such as "prisoner's dilemma","boxed pigs " etc.Finally,the paper comes to a conclusion and gives some suggestions.This paper will be divided into six chapters: The first chapter is about the introduction of the paper and mainly elaborates the research background,significance,the literature review results both at home and abroad,research methods and the analysis of technical route.The second chapter introduces the connotation of international police cooperation,the game elements and classification,the internal relations of motivation,mechanism,guarantee the for the international police cooperation and expounds the application of game theory analysis in the case of international police cooperation.The third chapter analyzes the motivation of the international police cooperation from the perspective of repeated game theory.The fourth chapter analyzes the international police cooperation mechanism and puts forward some suggestions.The fifth chapter explores various obstacles in the international police cooperation from the classic game model and puts forward some specific countermeasures.And the sixth chapter points out some weak points about the whole paper and presents a bright prospect for the further research of the international police cooperation.
