The Study On Industry-university Cooperation Motivation And Its Impacts On Cooperation Performance——Based On The Intermediary Role Of Cooperation Mechanism

With the rapid development of global economy, the competition between enterprises is increasingly intense. However, due to the small scale and of the shortage of innovation, it is very difficult for enterprises to achieve innovation and break through the bottleneck rely on their own strength. Therefore, seeking support and access to resources from the outside has become the inevitable trend of enterprise’s survival and development. The cooperative provides enterprises opportunities in technological innovation and transformation and upgrading. Enterprises integrate the resources and production factors by cooperating with universities or research institutions, which can gain a strong innovation capacity and competitiveness. In addition, the cooperation provide a good learning environment to enterprises. Through learning from each other in cooperation, enterprises not only can realize the sharing of resources, but also enhance their strength and improve the ability of innovation.This article defines the degree of division cooperation motivation and cooperation mechanism by using the method of literature review and empirical research on the basis of previous studies. In addition, it builds up a conceptual model of cooperative motivation influence the cooperative performance through the theoretical analysis of the impact. It puts forward 16 hypotheses and selects the mature scale to make questionnaires. It uses SPSS and Lisrel software to analysis the 257 recovered questionnaires by reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, and verify the model and hypothesis. The results show that the enterprise motivations play a significant role in promoting the enterprise performance. All the resource oriented motivation, the learning oriented motivation and the risk oriented motivation have significant positive impacts on enterprise performance, but also through the cooperation mechanism. However, the policy oriented motivation has no significant influence on the cooperation mechanisms and performance; the cooperation mechanism plays the role of mediator between the enterprise cooperation motivation and cooperation performance; both the mode and the behavior of cooperation play intermediary roles in the mechanism of cooperation influence the cooperative performance.According to the research, it puts forward suggestions. First of all, the government should emphasize the main role of enterprises in the process of technological innovation process, strength the guidance and support about cooperation. Secondly, the government should create a favorable institutional environment for cooperation, promote integration of various innovative elements. Finally, the dynamism and vitality should be enhanced and the main communication level should be promoted, so as to promote the flow of information in the process of cooperation and improve the cooperation performance.
