Study On The Relationship Between The Family Business's Top Management Team Trust And Strategic Decision

As one of the world's leading enterprise organization form,family business is the backbone of the world economy.In our country,85% of the private enterprises are family businesses,which have made outstanding contributions to China's economy.The family business' s top management team trust influence strategic decision making and implementing.Higher top management team trust can bring greater strategic change and improve the quality of strategic decision-making.The thesis focus on the family business' s top management team trust to explore the relationship between it and strategic decision.Based on the Preface-Structure theory,Upper Echelons theory,Strategic Decision Process theory,the existing domestic and foreign research results,the thesis summarizes the different family business definition standard.Secondly,combined with the relevant theoretical research of family business trust,the study summarizes the special nature of family business trust.Then,the thesis clears the current progress in research of top management team,especially the research on top management trust.This thesis reviews the theories about top management team strategic decision-making,clears research direction.Based on the above theoretical analysis,the research uses a multi case study method,designs interview outline,selects the case study object to carry out in-depth interviews,and analyzes the data.The research puts forward the theoretical proposition.And then the result is discussed.In this thesis,the research sample is selected from the family businesses in different stages of development,using NVivo8 qualitative analysis software for data analysis,summarizes the influence factors and types of the family business' s top management team trust,and elements of strategic decision making and implementing.Our study indicates that in different stages,because of the different composition of top management team,the relationship among top management members of family business determines the establishment and maintenance of the trust,and then shows the different family business' s top management team trust type.Besides,the rational trust is more conducive to the sustainable development of family business.Besides,the type of the family business' s top management team trust determines the decision participation and decision interaction of the top management team,and then affects the decision quality and commitment.
