As an important carrier of commercial banks to provide comprehensive financial services and service entities,the consumer credit business plays an important role in the differentiated competition of commercial banks.It is of great significance to explore the business transformation of commercial banks and to serve the real economy development better.This paper studies the development of consumer credit business in China from three aspects:the development course of China's consumer credit business,the characteristics of consumer credit business development,and the comparison of domestic and foreign industry.It finds that China's consumer credit business has a big gap with foreign countries in terms of market size,legal system,credit system,market maturity,risk control system and market innovation environment.Based on above,the paper uses the statistical data of commercial credit consumption to explore the distribution characteristics of consumption credit in terms of use,quota,period and age.With the help of econometric tools,this paper analyzes the factors that affect the development of consumer credit business in China's commercial banks.Specifically,the customer's age,gender,loan period,the amount of collateral,savings,use and risk premium and other factors will have a significant impact on the amount and price of consumer credit.In the management of credit line,the cash flow is faster,the demand for funds is relatively large,such as business and buying automobiles.In the risk management,the commercial banks prefer the strong consumption of commercial housing and housing field.Then,under the premise of fully considering the background of economic transformation and macro-prudential supervision under the new economic norm,the author further explores the goal orientation and path choice of the development of China 's commercial bank' s consumer credit business.China's commercial banks should follow the development requirement of optimizing customer structure,the development mode of "Internet +" and the development pattern of differentiated competition.Under the background of macro-prudential supervision,the development of consumer credit business should meet the counter-cyclical supervision,coordination supervision and global supervision.In the choice of consumer credit development path,should increase the innovation,adhere to inclusive finance;adjust and optimize customer positioning,to explore the potential customers;adhere to prudential supervision and risk management without lax;actively embrace technological change,enhance consumer credit inclusive and competition force.Based on this,this paper puts forward the following development measures:Firstly,increase the support of the policy.On one hand,establish and improve the legal system of consumer credit,timely development of consumer credit business in the process of new business,new issues to regulate and adjust,and constantly improve the legal service platform.On the other hand,use laws and regulations to regulate and guide the consumer credit business,and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.Secondly,improve the personal credit system.To the People's Bank credit system as the center,the appropriate introduction of private credit aided mechanism to further enrich the credit market to participate in the main body,while the use of information technology and Internet financial development environment,large data credit,the role of financial institutions,And create a credit system to enhance the stability of credit system.Thirdly,strengthen business and product innovation.Commercial banks to achieve their own competitive advantage,we must actively carry out business innovation,improve the management of commercial banks,improve the market-oriented business operations mechanism,innovative consumer credit business management model,strictly control the risk on the basis of promoting credit approval,processing operation,improving credit efficiency.Fourthly,to extend the chain of financial services to consumer credit as the starting point for consumers to provide a package of integrated financial services.Commercial banks in the development of consumer credit in the process,should make full use of their own professional level of business and comprehensive financial services to provide capacity advantages,a single customer credit business upstream and downstream to fully extend the full potential of individual customers to tap the potential.Fifthly,strengthen the risk management system.Risk control is the"lifeline" of the steady development of commercial bank consumer credit business.Commercial banks to establish a sound pre-loan,loan and loan after the risk management system,pre-loan access and audit,in all aspects of the loan to strictly avoid operational risks,credit tracking and monitoring,pay close attention to credit assets Quality changes.
