A Study On The Economic Development Of China-Sri Lanka Martime Silk Road

The ancient China concept of a maritime Silk Road,then China and Sri Lanka have already established trade relations,including gem,sandalwood,the ancient king of Sri Lanka also welcomes economic and cultural exchanges like this.In 2013 China President Xi proposed in twenty-first Century to establish a maritime Silk Road strategy,twenty-first Century Maritime Silk Road has a positive impact on the China and Sri Lanka,from Chinese perspective,twenty-first Century Maritime Silk Road to promote the reform and opening up China,also you can add from the friendly relations between the ancient China and Maritime Silk Road countries.Finally,it can stabilize the surrounding security.Sri Lanka can also promote economic prosperity,at the same time;Sri Lanka can also rely on China help to balance the influence of India.The establishment of the maritime Silk Road in twenty-first Century is a win-win strategy for China and Sri Lanka.Firstly,this thesis introduces the ancient Silk Road,the Silk Road in twenty-first Century and the Silk Road on the sea and Sri Lanka,which lay the foundation for the following research.Secondly,the thesis analyzes the current economic development of Sri Lanka,including land resources,enterprises,transportation,science and technology and education,as well as the economic cooperation between China and Sri lanka.Thirdly,it analyzes the conditions of China and Sri Lanka's economic development on the Silk Road from the aspects of history,geography,environment,culture and so on.Then,through SWOT analysis,some policy suggestions are put forward.China and Sri Lanka should strengthen government exchanges,promote international cooperation,and promote a win-win situation between the two countries.This study can promote better understanding of Sri Lanka China twenty-first Century Maritime Silk Road,to the Chinese tilted to the economic and policy,to provide more favorable policies to promote the development of the two countries.In addition to this,to support China's Maritime Silk Road strategy.It is hoped that this will promote the deepening exchanges between the two countries and promote the friendship between China and Sri Lanka.
